Wee Willie Winkie

It was Wee Willie Winkie day at preschool.  They wore pajamas and made these lanterns like the one that Willie used when he ran through the town in his night gown. 

Sugar Cube Igloo

Seth was excited to make igloos with his class.  His igloo looked more like a tower, but he was one of the only ones who could get it to stay standing for more than a few minutes.

dinner

a bad cell phone picture of my dinner.  I was at the old house cleaning and getting ready for touch up paint.  Rick brought me a Durangos salad and some power ade. 

Snow! Before School!

As the kids were getting ready for school, Seth noticed the huge flakes coming down outside.  He and Kate ran around in it for a few minutes before school.  Of course, it was all gone within a half hour.

While watching the Pro-Bowl, Seth decided that he needed to know what dance he would do if he scored a touchdown.  We'll keep working on it.

Isn't She Lovely?

Tirsa went to junior prom (and was on the prom royalty, too!) and looked so beautiful!  She humored my taking pictures with only minimal complaint.  ;)

Superhero party prep at Girl's Night

I fudged and took this picture on Saturday morning, because I came home after midnight, but this is what I did while at Girl's night with Chrissy and Alison.  So excited for Cru's superhero party!

3 minutes

Give Hannah 3 minutes and a dry erase board, and she can do this.  It just boggles my mind.  I love how she used the magnets for the flowers in her hair.

Tricky

Someday, they may take this act on the road!

Potential

That's the word for the office.  Potential.  Eventually, we'll figure out what we're going to do for storage in there, and we'll get the boxes off the floor.  But for now, it was good to see it being used for it's intended purpose.  Homework.

Momentous!

Momentous toilet paper?  You betcha!  We finally installed all the towel rings/bars and toilet paper dispensers.  It was a beautiful day!

Where's Waldo?

There are actually four kids in this picture.  You just can't see them for all the toys.  The kids had a wonderful sleep over in the toy room, and the next day they cleaned it all up.  It took a couple of hours to get it all organized, but it felt so good to get it done!

Lego Up!

Cru has been obsessed with Legos since he could walk, practically.  But he's just getting the concept of building from the directions.  With Daddy's help, he built the batmobile and was SO proud of himself.  For the next week, anyone who came to our house was shown his finished project!

Front Yard Football

Seth enlisted Katy to play a little football on the grass.  (that might not make it through the winter)  Hannah observed from the balcony. 

Holy Bubbles, Batman!

Today I learned that a jetted tub produces FAR more bubbles than simply pouring the shampoo in a normal stream of water did.  The tub is only half filled with water...the rest is bubbles.  And they were THRILLED!  And I think I took a hundred pictures!

Some Office Progress

I have been stalling because I didn't want all the art supplies in open shelving...but in the end I decided that we needed a functional space in the meantime.  I will keep looking for the perfect storage solution, but at least now we can find the paper and markers and tape!

Wing Master

The boys wanted some "football food" while they watched the 49ers game.  Seth took his wing-eating VERY seriously.  Rick made both bbq and spicy wings, and Seth insisted on downing the super spicy ones.

She was hamming it up in the car while we waited for Hannah at her bus stop.  Isn't that a cute little face?  Even with the scars on her cheek?

Today was super windy.  Seth has been asking a lot of questions lately about natural disasters.  Having a super windy day did not help the situation.  And our poor tree might not survive, either.
