Seth had to do a book report on a biography.  He read a book about Steve Young and enjoyed making this character that opened up and told facts about Steve Young.  He did a great job!

The Electricity Project

As a school project, Hannah was instructed to build an invention involving a circuit.  She "invented" a spin art machine, powered by a battery, using a little spinning motor.

MaKaty leaves notes like these all over the house.  "I hop you hav a good day" and "mom is osoom"  (awesome)

someone left a flatbed trailer for a week, and my kids enjoyed playing on it.  And I let them.

I found this file of stuff in one of our file boxes.  It made me laugh.  Good thing the kids will love this stuff!

Haircut

finally!  It wasn't the best haircut, but the girl textured it a bit, and that was nice.  And Cru was so good for her!

the timing was definitely not ideal, with Brandon and Heather there for the long weekend.  But these antibiotics sure made my day!

Claire

Heather and I were messing with our camera settings, and Claire was in the room.  She's such a cutie.

Love Party

we all had a blast at Alison's love party.  Seth enjoyed making his lips cookie stick out it's tongue.

I let her have the hose to water our sad grass, and I paid the price.  Love her.

Best Valentine Ever

Big Old Cookie

Seth was excited to make cookies while Kare Bear was babysitting.  He insisted on one large cookie.  It wouldn't come off the pan well, and he burned his arm pretty badly in the process, but he was still happy when we got home!

New Haircut

I cut about 8 inches off.  Yay!

Ocean Diorama

Seth made this diorama as a school project.  He was very excited to show how the animals/fish could be moved back and forth in the box. 

First Talk in Primary

Cru gave his first talk in Primary today.  It was about how the world was created by Jesus Christ for you and for me.  He did a great job, and was really excited to hold up his picture, and to use the microphone.

Rest In Peace, Uncle Rod

The girls joined me for Uncle Rod's memorial service.  It was a nice service for a good man.

Book Club Book

I have read my share of WWII era books, but this was a unique perspective, and a true story as well.  Definitely an interesting read.

Quiet Time

Cru enjoys sneaking into our room and playing Rick's phone on the charger.

Life Flight Visit

We went to the school to watch the life flight helicopter land.  They loved it!

The Doctor

Hannah has recently become obsessed with Doctor Who.  I thought she did a great job on this drawing of the tardis and the doctor.

Officially For Sale

It took a month longer than we wanted it to, but all the work is done on the house, it is cleaned, painted, and ready to sell.  Here's hoping!

We were finishing up some last things on the old house so that we could get it up for sale.  We discovered that MaKaty had been leaving chalk messages on the driveway.  It says "We are not hom(e)."  It was funny, but we did think it wise to wash it off before we left.  We didn't want vandals getting at the house because of the large advertisement that we were not there!
